I’ve done low carb, (Atkins, etc) high carb, (Slimming Word) moderate carb etc and log my food and was shocked each time to see they were all low calorie. After the initial week or so the rate of fat loss is same as any other diet. It’s calories in calories out. Simple. It’s what some call indirect deficit diet placing silly restriction, rules can eat must eat etc. and of course you lose weight but nothing to do with low carb. It works because it’s a low calorie diet.

As a vegetarian of 30 years I can honestly say this is probably one of the worst cookbooks I’ve ever seen. I have been doing keto over a month now and have found more recipes simply online rather than in this cookbook. The recipes in here give people who are looking to become vegetarians and follow the keto diet a very limited view of actually what is out there. This book is just dud!

I am happy to read about vegetarians on keto but you didn’t mention tofu as a protein option. I do like to eat organic tofu. Would that be a problem?
The dough was easy to make just requires alot of patience, the sugar topping did give me a little trouble but as long as you use plastic wrap or as someone else suggested and I did, two plastic bags it is way easier!
