    No, I don’t think there is any but you can try some substitutes. I think it depends on how you plan to use it – on the recipe. You can use whole/ ground chia seeds mixed with water or agar powder.

I strongly encourage the author of the article to take one class via The Institute for Functional Medicine. If he is open to more learning he can take more classes and get certified. I baked for my parents and siblings for about 5 years, then recently started bringing my desserts to family events and parties. After my anorexia I wanted to start making more vegan dishes to help me recover. I’ve been baking vegan for about 2 years but one thing I never stopped eating was lemon curd. It’s my birthday and I wanted to make a lemon curd tart (my favorite) but some of my family is vegan and they know how great my desserts are, I don’t want them left out! So I searched the internet for vegan lemon curd. This recipe along with extra corn starch worked great as a tart, the taste and texture were less of a lemon curd and more of a posset, a dessert even better tasting than lemon curd. I added a blueberry-chia compote to the top. Thank you and maybe you could try making a vegan posset sometime in the future (a posset is made of three basic things: heavy cream, sugar, and lemon, lime, or passion fruit)

    Well, as we are getting deeper into 21st century, it seems more and more realistic that we will eventually start making shakes for daily food consumption. I am making 3-4 shakes a day, and eat only one “real” meal – dinner at home. I love making protein shakes with fruits and berries, make green spicy smoothies, and such. My life changed to better – no headache about what and where to eat or taking huge lunch boxes to work, since I have three meals at work. All my nutrition, minerals, proteins and such are organic, counted, balanced and present. As blog host said – it is really easy to do keto vegan, if you go on shakes. It is only if you like food and cooking too much, when it become a problem.
