In truth it depends on the quality of the study, but the evidence in my mind is trending toward meat not being linked to death or heart attacks for the reasons I explained earlier – there may have been other reasons excluded from the analysis in the meat eaters – such as they were higher sugar consumers, they were more sedentary and they were more likely to smoke and drink.  Eating sustainably raised, clean meat, poultry and lamb and other esoteric meats such as ostrich, bison or venison as part a healthy diet is not likely harmful and is very helpful in reducing triglycerides, raising HDL (or good cholesterol), lowering blood sugar, reducing belly fat, reducing appetite, raising testosterone and increasing muscle mass.  On the other hand, eating a lot of meat puts pressure on the planet – more water use, more climate change, and more energy inputs. Eat meat as a side dish or condiment, and only consume grass fed and sustainably-raised.

cuento mi experiencia, a mi la dieta cetogenica (alta en grasas, normal en proteinas, bajisima en cabohidratos) me funciono solo eliminando SAL, AZUCAR Y EDULCORANTES. Solo asi se anulo el apetito, me siento energetica y no vivo pensando en comer. Yo creo que la sal, quien nadie elimina, es fundamental porque como exalta los sabores te mantiene pensando en la comida, casi actua como un carbohidratos concentrados en el sentido que te lleva siempre a querer comer (por diferentes razones, obviamente). Pero bueh, esta es mi experiencia y consejo si a alguno le cuesta engancharse, prueben a eliminar exaltadores de sabor como sal y edulcorantes.
Por conta dessas dúvidas, muitas pessoas acabam adotando estratégias erradas e comendo o que não deveriam comer.

Falafel sem farinha Hace un año me encontré con esta página. Quería bajar de peso y lo intenté con un enfoque cetogénico, pero me era casi imposible mantener una dieta tan restrictiva. Subí algo la ingesta de carbohidratos intentando que no supere 100 – 125 gramos diarios, como leí en alguna de tus publicaciones es un enfoque bajo en carbohidratos sin llegar a ser cetogénico. Me permito algunas “salvedades” que me permiten continuar con la dieta, como algo de pan (muy poco) en el desayuno y después de comer me tomo un café que endulzo con una cucharada pequeña de azúcar. El resto de mi alimentación se basa en carnes (cerdo, vaca, cordero, pollo, conejo,…), pescado (caballa, sardina, atún, bacalao,…), verduras (tomate, lechuga, cebolla,…), frutas (aguacate que no falta en mis ensaladas, papaya, fresas, peras, manzana,…), legumbres (lentejas, garbanzos), y lácteos (leche entera, queso,…). Las papatas las pruebo de vez en cuando y la pasta y el arroz muy esporádicamente (si acaso dos veces al mes). Por supuesto que como comidas fritas (en aceite de oliva) y aún así he bajado de peso. La fórmula ha sido reducir la ingesta de azúcar y harinas, y comer las comidas lo más natural posible (que no estén procesadas). Como ves he hecho algunas “trampas” pero esto me ha valido para hacer más llevadera mi alimentación y aún así he bajado de peso. Mi objetivo es seguir bajando, hasta alcanzar los 68 kilos aprox. que parece ser mi peso adecuado de acuerdo con mi altura y demás parámetros físicos.
